Managing your buildings energy usage is often the simplest way of saving energy, and Building Management Systems (BMS) are the ideal tool to controlling your HVAC and building consumption.

A Building Management System is a computer-based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems.

Often there is little interaction between the BMS provider and the specialist service providers such as HVAC, fire and lighting. However as ID Scotia has its own in-house control and Building Management System engineers, we bridge the link between installing HVAC systems, and link it into the BMS to pro-actively manage the a buildings energy consumption and ensure the systems are working as specified.
